Flow
A collaborative project with Ana Rita Pires. Presented as part of the Due West Festival 2019. These were presented at the Creative Containers, 2 shipping containers along the Maribyrnong river. The project was in response to the factory fire in Tottenham in 2018. Ana Rita ran workshops with local children who wrote poetry and created slides in response to the event. Stories of the local waterways was project mapped onto a shipping container, overlaid over a simple mural design. Also an installation called was created within the shipping container from waste plastic sourced from local households and the river. This work was supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body and the Australian Cultural Fund.

The Bower
Created as part of the Digital Agora in Hurstbridge in 2019. The idea was to explore Nillumbik as seen through the eyes of local birds who can see UV light. The Bower was named after the local bowerbirds who create bowers to attract a mate. My installation was to attract attention to the importance of protecting the local flora and fauna through a series of art workshops which were presented with UV lights and EL wire, and a projected presentation of images of local flora through UV photography.
Land of Yesterday
The Land of Yesterday project is an ongoing multimedia project where young people create work to address the current mass extinction of animals around the world. The idea behind this project is to enable young budding conservationists, to use modern multimedia techniques to address the issue of extinction in Australia by recreating a land that can no longer be enjoyed.
In 2016, Rosie Kilvert and I ran multimedia workshops at Signal Arts. The results were presented on the Signal Screen.
In 2017, the project was part of the West Projections Festival.

Voices of Geelong
Across 6 months in 2013 young creative leaders from Geelong’s Karen community were invited to participate in animation, song writing, spoken word, video and photography workshops exploring ideas of identity, place & belonging. One of the participants, Kaw Doh Soe Naw Nyu (KDS), created his first animation with me. The text is based on a poem he wrote during a spoken word workshop with Tariro Movando.
